Ovesco OTSC® (Over-The-Scope-Clip) Training
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
Our Product Specialist team are available to offer training in the use of the OTSC® (Over-The-Scope-Clip) System for a range of indications.
This onsite, interactive session combined with videos of case studies is aimed at clinicians, nurses and trainees and offers a comprehensive overview and training in the use of the OTSC® application for treating acute bleeding, perforation closure, complex fistulas and anastomotic leaks in the digestive tract. The training can be tailored to suit both the audience and time available but generally takes about 45- 60 minutes.
The programme would consist of:
- A short theoretical presentation (see pdf. download “OTSC User Training” )
- Videos on the management of a range of complications from the SynMed YouTube Channel.
- ‘Hands on’ practice to assemble the equipment and fire a clip using a dry model (we would need a gastroscope with suction)
- A tips and tricks followed by a question and answer session.
- Training certificates issued for attendees who complete the session.
