Haemoclip
Designed to be used with an endoscope for clipping the soft tissue in gastrointestinal (GI) tract for the purpose of Haemostasis for:
- Mucosal/sub-mucosal defects < 3 cm
- Bleeding ulcers
- Arteries < 2 mm
- Polyps < 1.5 cm in diameter
- Diverticula in the colon
Can also be used for;
- Endoscopic marking
- Anchoring jejunal feeding tubes
- As a supplementary method, closure of GI tract luminal perforation < 20mm, that can be treated conservatively
