Thursday September 12th – Impedance/pH Reflux Testing clinical training seminar

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The key objective of this training seminar is to support users to develop their existing practice and to understand both the clinical application and indications for reflux monitoring, including the technical differences between impedance and pH-metre. There will also be an introduction to the alpHaONE wireless pH capsule and discussion on patient selection for Wireless or Wired monitoring.

In the practical session the trainees will have the opportunity for ‘Hands on’ practise, to examine, read and report on a variety of case studies. The attendees will then be able to discuss and compare their findings with the trainers.

Friday September 13th – High Resolution Manometry clinical training seminar

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The key objective of this training seminar is to support Clinicians, Nurses and Physiologists and those with a general interest in GI Physiology who would like a better understanding of the advantages of High Resolution Manometry. This course is to include a live demonstration and lecture. In the practical session the trainees will have the opportunity for ‘Hands on’ practise, to examine, read and report on a variety of case studies, then discuss and compare their findings with the trainers.
